Welcome to Corsica. You are met on arrival at the Calvi Airport and transferred to your luxury hotel. This morning drive to Ile-Rousse (Isularossa), with its beautiful and busy harbor and beaches. Next, you tour the charming villages of Belgodène Calenzana, and Santo Antonino – with hills covered with olive, lemon, orange and fig trees, symbolizing the "Gardens of Corsica." In the afternoon explore Calvi Citadel, a 13th century fortified walled city.

DAY 2: Calvi, Corsica, FRANCE
This morning, discover the harbor of St. Florent, the coastal region that aligns with the gardens of the Balagne Valley. Travel through the blazing and wild Desert of the Agriates, with its ‘burnt to a cinder’ landscape, seeing the diversity of this island. The afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the region. Return to Calvi in the afternoon.

DAY 3: Piana & Cargese, Corsica, FRANCE
Today, drive south towards Piana, and its impressive rock formations. En route, stop in Porto, a small village bordered by red granite cliffs and famous for its little pebble beach and dazzling sunsets. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has an unusual 16th century Genoese Watchtower towering above its red cliffs. Continue your drive to Piana along one of the most awe-inspiring roads in the world – and see the Calanches de Piana, spiky red granite rocks jutting straight out of the sea, some rising to 1000 feet. The color of these rocks changes from deep orange to russet red and all the hues in between according to the time of day. Amongst the Calanches are 'Taffoni' or natural caves. Arrive in the village of Piana in time for lunch (on own) – choose from one of the many gourmet eateries with incredible views over the Mediterranean sea.This afternoon continue on to Cargese, a village of pretty white houses set above a cliff dotted with olive trees. Since the beginning of recorded history, the island was continually the prey of invading civilizations. Your guide will explain the story of antagonism between the Roman Catholic Church and Greek Church built across from each other in the village. Return to Calvi in the later afternoon.
