Upon arrival in Melbourne, you are transferred by private vehicle to your accommodation. Settle in to your room, relax and refresh. Later, meet an expert local historian in the lobby for a private, walking tour of elegant, lively Melbourne, discovering the city’s nooks and crannies from an insider’s perspective.

Day 4: Melbourne, AUSTRALIA
Spend the day at one of Victoria’s oldest country properties, Coliban Park, which dates back to 1917. At this fourth-generation sheep station, watch sheep dogs at work, witness sheep shearing and learn about one of Australia’s most important industries. Enjoy a homestyle lunch with the Barber family in their traditional private homestead, followed by an opportunity to spot kangaroos hopping wild on the sprawling property.

Day 5: Melbourne / Cairns / Port Douglas, AUSTRALIA
This morning, fly to Cairns and, upon arrival, drive to the charming seaside village of Port Douglas. Check in at your luxury resort and spend the rest of the day exploring your picturesque surroundings.

After breakfast, board a cruiser and set out for Agincourt Reef, renowned for its water clarity and coral formations. Swim and snorkel the crystalline waters, or simply sunbathe and take in the natural beauty of this spectacular reef.

Today is at leisure to explore Port Douglas attractions, including the sparkling Four Mile Beach.

Day 8: Port Douglas / Cairns / Uluru, AUSTRALIA
This morning, fly to Cairns and connect to a flight to Uluru in Australia’s Outback. Spend the afternoon exploring the mysterious Kata Tjuta, domed rock formations, and walk through the Valley of the Winds. End the day with a sundowner in hand, watching the sun set from your perch at Uluru, a sacred Aboriginal site.

Day 9: Uluru, AUSTRALIA
Early this morning, take in a breathtaking sunrise over Uluru (Ayers Rock). Spend the afternoon at leisure. At dusk, enjoy sunset drinks and canapés before an al fresco dinner under the stars. As the sun dips behind the domes of Kata Tjuta and Uluru, listen to the haunting sounds of the didgeridoo; then star gaze with the help of an expert astronomer.

Stop at Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair for wonderful views of Sydney Harbour flanked by the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Continue to the iconic Sydney Opera House for a private, behind-the-scenes tour of this legendary landmark. Later, head to Campbell’s Cove where your private charter vessel awaits to whisk you away on an afternoon sightseeing cruise.
